Grant Applications Due April 10th

Grant Applications are due in our office by 5:00pm on April 10, 2014 . Some things that it will be helpful to remember in the process are:
  1. Submit your application as early as possible. By doing this we have a chance to look over your application for any errors or missing documentation. Any Applications that are received before April 1 will be reviewed for errors. Applications with errors received after April 1 may not be accepted.
  2. Only attached tax documents, Certificate of Standing, and IRS Non-profit determination letter to the original not the copies
  3. If you are submitting a resolution from a governing body (schools, government) only attach it to the original.
  4. Staple all applications. No paper clips, etc.
  5. Remember the application should be in its original form. (No colored paper, plastic covers, folders, or cover sheets. Do not reformat this application form.
  6. Remember its 15 copies and 1 original for a total of 16 applications
  7. When submitting an electronic copy do it in word format.

Spring 2014 Grant Applications Are Now Being Accepted

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce that the applications for the Spring 2014 Grants are now available. The WCRF would advise all applicants to review the guidelines before filing their application as some procedures have changed. The deadline for this period's application is 5:00pm on April 10, 2014.

WCRF Announce 4th Quarter Municipal Grants

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce 9 fourth quarter city grant awards totaling $ 189,654.11 through its Municipal Grant program.

WCRF Municipal Grant program distributes 25% of its total revenues directly to the cities in Washington County based on population.  For 2013, WCRF has distributed $841,825.36 to the nine cities in Washington County and $5,953,027.20 in Municipal Grants since its inception.  These funds are programmed by each City Council

WCRF Announces Fall 2013 Grant Winners

Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce the winners of our Fall 2013 Grants.  At a reception held at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort 52 winners were announced with awards totaling $1,365,787. To view a list of the winners click here.

Fall 2013 Grant Applications

Washington County Riverboat Foundation received 85 applications asking for a total of $6,805,358 in its Fall 2013 grant period.  The applications are now in the hands of the board of directors.  The winners will be announced on December 11th at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort Events Center.  To see a list of the applications click here

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce 9 third quarter city grant awards totaling $ 225,518.40 through its Municipal Grant program.

WCRF Municipal Grant program distributes 25% of its total revenues directly to the cities in Washington County based on population.  For 2013, WCRF has distributed $652,171.25 to the nine cities in Washington County and $5,763,373.09 in Municipal Grants since its inception.  These funds are programmed by each City Council.

WCRF Announces $97,102 in Competitive Grant Awards

  The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce 53 grants totaling $97,102 in awards through its Mini Grant program. The Mini Grants were designed to reach applicants who had a small project they would like to complete.

The WCRF Board of Directors made the decision on grant awards at its July 16th Board meeting.  WCRF Board President, Patty Koller, congratulated the award winners and commented that the “grant awards were for excellent projects around the area that will serve diverse and important needs.  The Foundation Board is pleased to assist area nonprofit organizations to complete projects that might not happen without our financial support.”
