WCRF Announces Application for Director Opening


Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is now taking applications to fill one director position. The director term will expire January 1, 2022.  To view the application Click Here.

The board will accept applications from anyone who resides in rural Washington County. WCRF would also note that directors do not represent the areas where they live or work but represent the entire Washington County area.

Eligible persons should also be aware that they will be required to undergo an extensive background check by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation and be required to attend meetings at different locations around the county. Both meeting time and travel is uncompensated as this a volunteer position.

The deadline for submitting applications is October 4, 2018.

WCRF Now Taking Applications for Executive Assistant


Washington County Riverboat Foundation is now taking applications for Executive Assistant. 

This position represents the Board to the public, and requires a consistent professional appearance and demeanor. Generally the Executive Assistant will direct and coordinate operations of this nonprofit Foundation, to provide information to the general public about the missions of the Foundation, oversee grants made by the Foundation and report observations to the Board.

WCRF Now Taking Applications for the Fall 2018 Grant Period

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce that the application for the Fall 2018 Grant Period is now available. The WCRF would advise all applicants to review the guidelines before filing their application. The deadline for this period's application is 5:00pm on October 3, 2018.
Applications that are received before September 24th will be reviewed for any errors. Applications with errors received after September 24th may not be accepted.

WCRF Announces 2018 Mini Grants

Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce 46 grants totaling $89,781 in awards through its Mini Grant program. The Mini Grants were designed to reach applicants who had a small project they would like to complete.  To view the list of winners Click Here

WCRF Now Accepting Mini Grant Applications

Washington County Riverboat Foundation 2018 Mini Grant Application is now available. Mini Grants  applications are limited to a maximum of $2,000.  WCRF will give out up to $100,000 in Mini Grants this grant cycle. Mini Grants are catered to small non-profit organizations who would like to do a special project.  Applications are due in our office by 5:00pm on June 20, 2018.  To view guidelines and the application Click Here.

WCRF Announces Spring 2018 Grants

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce 58 grants totaling $5,328,207 in Spring 2018 awards through its Competitive Grant and Municipal Grant programs. Applications were due April 4, 2018 for this round of grants.

The WCRF Board of Directors made the decision on grant awards at its May 17th Board meeting.  To view a list of the awards click here.

Applications that are received before March 23rd will be reviewed for any errors. Applications with errors received after March 23rd may not be accepted.
