Applications Are Now Being Taken for Director Positions

Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is now taking applications to fill two directors positions. The directors terms will expire January 1, 2016.

The board will accept applications from anyone who lives or works in Washington County.  However, WCRF’s main emphasis on one director opening will be the Kalona city area while the other will be a rural Kalona resident.   WCRF would also note that directors do not represent the areas where they live or work but represent the entire Washington County area.

Eligible persons should also be aware that they will be required to undergo an extensive background check by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation and be required to attend meetings at different locations around the county.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 17, 2013. To view the application please click here.
